Welcome to All Saints and St Barnabas

We are two inclusive churches in Purley and Kenley, working together to serve God and our community. As we continue on our journey towards becoming one worshipping community we take turns worshipping at each church for our Sunday 10am Eucharist.

Full details of our services can be found here, including the location of our upcoming services, our YouTube Channel, our 8am Sunday service, our midweek worship and our special church seasons.

Our 10am services are celebrated with a spirit of joy and we sing both traditional and modern music. We follow the pattern of the Church's year, but are committed to justice within creation, including Creationtide and Black History month in our yearly patterns of service.

We also have a weekly traditional language service on Sundays at 8am and, for members of our private All Saints and St Barnabas Facebook Group, we offer Monday - Friday morning and evening prayer.

Our beliefs
  • We believe in an inclusive church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. We are members of Inclusive Church and we will continue to challenge the church, where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.
  • We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.
  • Our churches are committed to caring for our world and this is an important part of what we do to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, as we seek to transform unjust structures of society, strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth. We are proud to be Fairtrade Churches and All Saints also holds an Eco Church Silver Award.
  • The parishes of All Saints and St Barnabas take the safeguarding and care of children and vulnerable adults very seriously.  Both of our churches comply with the Church of England’s policy and practice and the Diocese of Southwark's policy and guidance on the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.  For more information on who to contact locally, go to Safeguarding.

We look forward to warmly welcoming you to our church community,
