All Saints & St Barnabas

Cross with lights

Welcome to the home page for the Parishes of All Saints, Kenley, and St Barnabas, Purley.  The overarching aim of both our parishes is to make Christ known to an ever deeper level both within our congregations and within our local communities.

One of our main joys is to be able to offer a wide range of different services within our two parishes, including the contemporary and the traditional, so as to cater for a wide selection of tastes.

Both of our growing, vibrant churches enjoy a deep Christian spiritual life in which our desire is to put Christ at the centre of our existence.

Our churches have been in close relationship for approximately 10 years.  Our list of services can be seen  on our services page.

If you are thinking of attending our services, please know that you are truly welcome.  You need not be concerned about not knowing church traditions, nor need you be concerned about issues such as where to sit, or what to wear.  Simply come as you are.  For more information about what to expect when you attend please see our FAQ page.

Messy Cathedral Group

We were recently invited by Southwark Diocese to speak about our Messy Church to people from all over our diocese.  It was a truly superb event and a wonderful opportunity to sing God's praises for all He has done for us via Messy Church.

Thank you to the Organisers, Volunteers and our Messy Church Family

Cafe Church
Every 4th Sunday 11am All Saints

At All Saints we’re very much excited about our Café Church.  Wonderfully it has been running for over a year now and it has proved to be very popular.  It is our hope that this new venture will begin to provide the type of spiritual context people have been asking us to provide in which friendship, debate, fun, and most importantly spiritual growth can occur.  It is our deepest hope that our new Café Church will also be extremely family friendly.  This is something we are going to tweak all the time until we have achieved the right context in which this can happen.  With this in mind we would greatly enjoy receiving your ideas as to how to make our new Cafe Church event as family friendly as possible, but also fun and stimulating for adults.

Our Cafe Church will has an informal nature, but also good theological input and the chance to (in a relaxed fashion) talk to people about what they think in relation to the subject of the day.  There will also be lots of opportunity to suggest subjects of focus for our future schedule.

Naturally with any Cafe Church there will be lots of tea and coffee, but also copious amounts of yummy muffins etc.

You are warmly invited to our Cafe Church which is held in our Church Hall on the 4th Sunday of every month, 10:30am for an 11am start.   Click here for more details.
