Prayer Chain
A common thread that runs through the lives of those who down through the years have had and continue to have, successful ministries, still remains, their ability and the will to pray.
This is not about flowing phrases and grand words, but the ability to devote time and energy to talk to God, not only talking, but listening to what He has to say. His reply may not always be what we want to hear, but reply he will. This may come in a variety of ways, not least being reminded of a verse of scripture.
Prayer is the powerhouse of the church and what is required is people who will give their time, as much or as little as they can, each day to bring praise and petition to a loving heavenly Father.
A few members of our church have started a prayer chain. The idea is for one person to receive a telephone call and to take time to pray and forward the request to the next person on the list being the next link in the chain. Members of the chain will keep all requests confidential. We also plan to meet every third Sunday in the Lady Chapel to pray together.
If you have a prayer request you can contact any member of our prayer chain. A full list can be found in Church, or you can contact our SPA Sue Myers via her contact details before. Your request for prayer will be passed on to the next in line so that you will be prayed for by everyone in our prayer chain.
